Living and daytime activities in one place, in a quiet environment with lots of space and greenery? With the support you need? GreaterGood Residential and Day Center can offer you this. GreaterGood Autism Community is a safe and stimulating environment.

We aim to create an innovative, inclusive, community-based, long-term housing solution for young adults with Autism or similar intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD). Our goal is to build a loving community with 'personal, safe, and warm' as core values, providing a place of possibilities and learning opportunities. We are dedicated to offering comprehensive individualized care, including daily living assistance necessary to help each resident reach their full potential and lead successful and happy lives, as well as offering engaging day programmes and enriching mind-body-soul activities.

GreaterGood Autism Community will be located on a private property of 50 acres, generously donated by its founders. The property is situated about 30 minutes' drive from Sri Lanka's famous Negombo beach and provides a peaceful and tranquil environment that is perfect for the residents to thrive in. The community includes:

Two 4-bedroom homes for four residents each (Phase 1)
- Two additional 4 bedroom homes (Phase 2)
- Ability for further expansion in the future (Phase 3)
- Neurodiverse Co-housing (Phase 4)
Training center with programmes that focus on developing essential skills in various areas such as hospitality, retail industry, customer service, and others.
A 16 meter outdoor lap pool, with recreation area for various outdoor physical activities. There are plenty of possibilities for walking and biking on the estate itself.
An indoor-gym, salon & massage area, Occupational Therapy room, Sensory room and snoezel area for necessary relaxation.
A library and computer area.
Small shop for sales of unique products that are created and assembled by our residents, creative GreaterGood t-shirts, fresh organic produce from the GreaterGood community garden, organic eggs from the chicken farm.
Our organic farm provides opportunities for physical skill development and healthy eating. The farm grows and distributes microgreens to the local shops in the neighbourhood.
A restaurant/community center, which is also available for outside guests of the "Cabana-village"
Hospitality section: The Cabana-village, situated on the edge of the community center will cater to the unique needs of families with children who have autism and other IDD's. It offers specialised accomodations, sensory-friendly spaces, and personalized services to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience. The community center's hospitality section will offer employment opportunities to interested residents.
A medical center will offer services such as blood draws, basic medical check-ups, dental care, psychiatry, physiotherapy, and dietetics. These services are available to residents of GreaterGood and visiting clients with special needs.
Enrichment programs and opportunities are provided on-site and coordinated off-site, tailored to our residents’ individual needs, encouraging choice and community, fostering a purposeful life.
